Slice of Life

I had nothing to do last night so I watched one of my favorite movies, "Back to School." One of my favorite scene is when Mr. Thornton Melon (Rodney Dangerfield) attended an economics class and demonstrated a thing or two to the economics professor (watch the movie clip above). Although it is just a crazy hollywood comedy movie, there are teachable moments. It demonstrates what is going on in our government today. The retards in Washington DC are all college professors who know it all and they think they know what is best for the little hardworking peons like us. They legislate and pass regulations without realizing the unintended consequences. Look at our leaders today. I dare say most politicians have little or no real world experience  running a real business or know how it works. Politicians assume that they can continue to expand the economic pie by soaking the "rich" with taxes and choking businesses with rules, regulations and union handcuffs. Like in the movie, they have no clue where the pie is coming from. No wonder businesses are moving overseas. God save America from the DC tire retreads. Enough Said.
